The Dartmouth Crossing Speed Skating Club ran a recreational short track program for master skaters from September to December. The program was conducted by Todd Landon, and the idea originated there. It has carried over to Todd's training program with the Nova Scotia Masters Speed Skating Club at the oval.Total laps completed during the program are recorded and the goal is to skate the distance (10,800 km) from Dartmouth to Pyeong Chang before the opening of the olympic games on February 9th.
