Elisabeth-Anne Roy Turns In Fast Times At First National Championships

Congratulations to Elisabeth-Anne Roy on breaking a NS Provincial Record and her four personal bests achieved at the Canadian Age Class Championships in Cambridge Ontario on March 27^th to 29^th, 2009.

Elisabeth-Anne broke the Junior Female 1500M Nova Scotia Record with a time of 2.41.06 which had been held by Natalie Oake since the 1996-97 skating season with a 2.42.25.

She also achieved personal best times in her other three distances as well, finishing 14^th in the 777m, 15^th in the 1000m and 1500m and 16^th in the 500m.  She finished 15^th in the overall standings.
